Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Karaboudjan's Genílson Maciel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ryszard Iwanowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Baptista having to interfere. When SORRISO E. C.'s Ryszard Iwanowski in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karaboudjan's goalie prevented a goal. In the 12th minute, Marcelo Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Karaboudjan fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! Miguel Baptista went to the wrong direction when Gil Cearense was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Ryszard Iwanowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caco Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genílson Maciel in the 18th minute of play. Miguel Baptista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ryszard Iwanowski's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Gil Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Baptista having to interfere. Ryszard Iwanowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gil Cearense took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Baptista. Miguel Baptista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 44th minute of the match, Gil Cearense got a very nice opportunity to score, but Miguel Baptista was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Karaboudjan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Gil Cearense scored to the left of an out of position Miguel Baptista, making the score, 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ryszard Iwanowski to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ryszard Iwanowski in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Baptista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 56 minutes, Ryszard Iwanowski made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Karaboudjan's Miguel Baptista tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Miguel Baptista came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by SORRISO E. C.'s Gil Cearense. But to his dismay, Gil Cearense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Ryszard Iwanowski put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Miguel Baptista. After 72 minutes of play, SORRISO E. C.'s Ryszard Iwanowski made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Baptista was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 87 minutes, Ryszard Iwanowski made it 12-0 with a short kick to the right side. Karaboudjan's Miguel Baptista tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gil Cearense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Baptista having to make a save. In the 91st minute Gil Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When SORRISO E. C.'s Ryszard Iwanowski in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karaboudjan's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Ryszard Iwanowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Baptista was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the SORRISO E. C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
