Manfredo Saldanha made in the 4th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tiquinho Soares however managed to control. In the 10th minute of the game Manfredo Saldanha made a throw-in which Gwyn Lawson played forward. A throw-in in the 11th minute of the game was made by Ulysses Valle with Ahmet Danış Garipbaş as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Frank Catarinense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rogério Paraense having to make a save. Zandarin FC's Rogério Paraense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Zandarin FC from getting a goal against them. Zandarin FC's Rogério Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Catarinense in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Frank Catarinense made a precise shot to the right of Rogério Paraense. Zandarin FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Rogério Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliverios Marcilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Zandarin FC's Rogério Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Catarinense in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Dogelo booed when Zandarin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredinho Camargo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Frank Catarinense reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rogério Paraense. The goal made the score 2-0. Manúel Bento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyrylo Korniychuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute, Manfredo Saldanha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogério Paraense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Catarinense's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Frank Catarinense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gwyn Lawson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zandarin FC's Rogério Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Catarinense in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Zandarin FC's Manfredo Saldanha got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 64th minute Oliverios Marcilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Zandarin FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Dráusio Diniz hit a great ball. Frank Catarinense scored 3-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rogério Paraense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Germano Souza hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When Ahmet Danış Garipbaş came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Dogelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Danış Garipbaş couldn't finish the play. If Frank Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute Frank Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Catarinense took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogério Paraense. Rogério Paraense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Catarinense in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogério Paraense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the match, Zandarin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Catarinense came free, but Rogério Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dogelo's Frank Catarinense got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rogério Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Catarinense in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute Frank Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 98th minute of the match Dogelo got a corner. Zandarin FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ahmet Danış Garipbaş ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dogelo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
