Raphael Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Iwanowski in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Ryszard Iwanowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryszard Iwanowski struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Raphael Peres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SORRISO E. C.. 24 minutes into the match, Ryszard Iwanowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raphael Peres. DJVAGALUMY FC.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ryszard Iwanowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 29th match minute, SORRISO E. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, SORRISO E. C.'s goalkeeper Caco Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thiago Vidal. 37 minutes into the match, DJVAGALUMY FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Iwanowski came free, but Raphael Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ryszard Iwanowski ran back to his position shaking his head. After 48 played minutes DJVAGALUMY FC. got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho de Senna. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Raphael Peres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gil Cearense went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Gil Cearense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The SORRISO E. C. fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when SORRISO E. C.'s Ryszard Iwanowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Pedro Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. SORRISO E. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Marinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphael Peres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ryszard Iwanowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Peres having to interfere. Gil Cearense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raphael Peres having to make a save. DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Raphael Peres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save DJVAGALUMY FC. from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the game, SORRISO E. C.'s Ryszard Iwanowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raphael Peres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. After 85 played minutes SORRISO E. C. got a freekick which was hit by Bruninho Melo. Caco Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Ryszard Iwanowski notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Raphael Peres. Raphael Peres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
