Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Valdo Guimarães got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Ryszard Iwanowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SORRISO E. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience was convinced that Ryszard Iwanowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evaristo Arósio was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 8th minute of the match SORRISO E. C. got a corner. MARINUS MZC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gil Cearense ran over to the corner to take the kick. MARINUS MZC's Evaristo Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Iwanowski in the 12th minute of play. Ryszard Iwanowski took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evaristo Arósio. Evaristo Arósio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Marcos Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to MARINUS MZC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Abel Senna hit a great ball. Evaristo Arósio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ryszard Iwanowski's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by MARINUS MZC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gil Cearense was slow to take the kick. During this time SORRISO E. C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Gil Cearense almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MARINUS MZC's Evaristo Arósio did a great save. MARINUS MZC's Evaristo Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernando Sampaio in the 24th minute of play. 0-3 became the score in the 28th minute when Ryszard Iwanowski elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 35 minutes, Ryszard Iwanowski made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. MARINUS MZC's Evaristo Arósio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Iwanowski in the 39th minute of play forced MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper Evaristo Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Silvério Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Iwanowski in the 41st minute of play forced MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper Evaristo Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The SORRISO E. C. fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when SORRISO E. C.'s Ryszard Iwanowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ryszard Iwanowski to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Ryszard Iwanowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Evaristo Arósio. That made the score 0-6 in the 54 minute of play. Evaristo Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Iwanowski in the 59th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Ryszard Iwanowski fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Evaristo Arósio, passed just outside the right post. Evaristo Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Iwanowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gil Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gil Cearense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Evaristo Arósio made a huge save. Ryszard Iwanowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Evaristo Arósio came out and tried to block the shot, but Ryszard Iwanowski slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 73rd minute. Falcão Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Gil Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot. SORRISO E. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gil Cearense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Arósio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evaristo Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Iwanowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Gil Cearense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evaristo Arósio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. Gil Cearense came free with the goalkeeper in the 97th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Evaristo Arósio could save by the left post. When the final whistle sounded SORRISO E. C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MARINUS MZC.
