The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Günalp Taştan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durval de Queirós in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durval de Queirós in the 10th minute of play forced Bitelon FC - SAF's goalkeeper Günalp Taştan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Dagoberto Machado suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Bitelon FC - SAF made a substitution. Lautaro-Gabriel Viana replaced Dagoberto Machado. The supporters of Bitelon FC - SAF booed when Jovens Democratas MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute of the match Ernesto Rezende shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manoel Neuer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jovens Democratas MZC's Manoel Neuer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro-Gabriel Viana in the 15th minute of play. Bitelon FC - SAF's Günalp Taştan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Bitelon FC - SAF from getting a goal against them. 17 minutes into the match, Xu Li Sang dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Günalp Taştan, 1-0. Günalp Taştan was a little too slow when Pedro Luís Ramalho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 2-0. Günalp Taştan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobromir Zagrodny in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Dobromir Zagrodny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manoel Neuer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 30 played minutes Bitelon FC - SAF got a freekick which was hit by Fernandinho Nogueira. Günalp Taştan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durval de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 33 played minutes Jovens Democratas MZC got a freekick which was hit by Durval de Queirós. Ramiro Vidal hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. A long shot from Marcel Veiga in the 36th minute of play was well struck, but Günalp Taştan made a really good save at the right post. In the 39th minute Durval de Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Günalp Taştan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jovens Democratas MZC's Durval de Queirós in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bitelon FC - SAF's goalie prevented a goal. 41 minutes into the match, Bitelon FC - SAF's goalkeeper Günalp Taştan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dobromir Zagrodny. Günalp Taştan made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Xu Li Sang sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dimitris Papaggelatos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Günalp Taştan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durval de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 63rd match minute, Bitelon FC - SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magno Carioca to maneuver through the defense. Jovens Democratas MZC's André Luiz Medeiros was substituted for Adilson Loyola. Magno Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Bitelon FC - SAF's goal looked a bit too open when Dobromir Zagrodny came free, but Günalp Taştan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldemar Teles's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Manoel Neuer firmly grabbed it by the left post. The attack was good, but when Waldemar Teles in the 70th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 72nd minute Ernesto Rezende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manoel Neuer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manoel Neuer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldemar Teles in the 73rd minute. Günalp Taştan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durval de Queirós in the 74th minute of the match. Günalp Taştan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durval de Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Puyol made in the 83rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bitelon FC - SAF's Ernesto Rezende. Günalp Taştan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durval de Queirós in the 85th minute of play. Günalp Taştan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Durval de Queirós's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Jovens Democratas MZC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bitelon FC - SAF for a fine match.
