Dimitris Papaggelatoss short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Betão Paraíba to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Betão Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Papaggelatos in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bitelon FC - SAF's Ramiro Vidal got a free kick in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Augusto Pinho in the 13th minute of play forced Bitelon FC - SAF's goalkeeper Günalp Taştan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sprite Star Football's Jean da Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Günalp Taştan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiano Ramalho in the 18th minute of the match. Betão Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Teles in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Fernandão Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dimitris Papaggelatos got free with Betão Paraíba in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, Bitelon FC - SAF's goal looked a bit too open when Christiano Ramalho came free, but Günalp Taştan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Günalp Taştan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Ramalho in the 36th minute of play. Bitelon FC - SAF's Dagoberto Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Betão Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Bitelon FC - SAF's Günalp Taştan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Bitelon FC - SAF from getting a goal against them. Bitelon FC - SAF's Ernesto Rezende quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Duda do Valle, made in the 59th minute of the game. Betão Paraíba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldemar Teles's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Waldemar Teles took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Betão Paraíba. Betão Paraíba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Betão Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Teles in the 65th minute of play. Betão Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sprite Star Football's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hélio Ceresso was slow to take the kick. During this time Bitelon FC - SAF's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Sprite Star Football's goalie and right to Waldemar Teles. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Sprite Star Football's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Dagoberto Machado fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bitelon FC - SAF's protests and gave Dagoberto Machado a yellow card for diving instead. Dagoberto Machado hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Betão Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Betão Paraíba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dimitris Papaggelatos went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Betão Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Papaggelatos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Dimitris Papaggelatos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bitelon FC - SAF's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimitris Papaggelatos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betão Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. During the 98th minute of the match Dagoberto Machado completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dagoberto Machado a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Bitelon FC - SAF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
