After having played for 25 minutes, Vítor Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MARINUS MZC's Evaristo Arósio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save MARINUS MZC from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdo Guimarães stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Evaristo Arósio came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Clube do Remo MZ's Wanderson Cordeiro. But to his dismay, Wanderson Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 57 played minutes MARINUS MZC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Munhoz. Victor de Sena scored 6-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evaristo Arósio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Vítor Godoi put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Evaristo Arósio. The supporters of Clube do Remo MZ booed when MARINUS MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaristo Arósio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. In the 87th minute, Wanderson Cordeiro made a precise shot to the right of Evaristo Arósio. MARINUS MZC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. After 90 played minutes MARINUS MZC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Carvalho. In the 91st minute, Victor de Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evaristo Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After some careless play in the MARINUS MZC defense, Victor de Sena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evaristo Arósio. The MARINUS MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evaristo Arósio should have stopped the shot. Clube do Remo MZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
