DJVAGALUMY FC.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Marcel Veiga scored to the left of an out of position Hermínio Pitta, making the score, 1-0. The nice shot from Xu Li Sang in the 8thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Hermínio Pitta had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 10th match minute, DJVAGALUMY FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Hermínio Pitta made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Xu Li Sang sent off a good shot on target. DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Hermínio Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xu Li Sang in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serginho Sabóia in the 17th minute of play forced DJVAGALUMY FC.'s goalkeeper Hermínio Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by DJVAGALUMY FC.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcel Veiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Jovens Democratas MZC's players had a chance to rest. Jovens Democratas MZC's Marcel Veiga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hermínio Pitta in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to DJVAGALUMY FC. getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Eriberto Borges hit a great ball. Hermínio Pitta made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Durval de Queirós sent off a good shot on target. Jovens Democratas MZC were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after DJVAGALUMY FC.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcel Veiga took the corner. Xu Li Sang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio Pitta having to interfere. Manoel Neuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulinho Zanette in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 41st minute, one of DJVAGALUMY FC.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DJVAGALUMY FC.. Hermínio Pitta went to the wrong direction when Xu Li Sang was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 45 minutes into the match, DJVAGALUMY FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Serginho Sabóia came free, but Hermínio Pitta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Hermínio Pitta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save DJVAGALUMY FC. from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abelardo Neiva made a kick off. Serginho Sabóia took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hermínio Pitta. Hermínio Pitta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The Jovens Democratas MZC fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Jovens Democratas MZC's Durval de Queirós looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. João Pedro Vargas was shown his second yellow card after 66 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 66th match minute, DJVAGALUMY FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Pedro Vargas to maneuver through the defense. João Pedro Vargas hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Adilson Loyola hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Pedro Luís Vieira might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manoel Neuer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manoel Neuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulinho Zanette in the 75th minute of the match. Pedro Paulo de Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Paulo de Sena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 played minutes DJVAGALUMY FC. got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Paulo de Sena. 80 minutes into the match, DJVAGALUMY FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Cunha came free, but Hermínio Pitta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Xu Li Sang made a precise shot to the right of Hermínio Pitta. DJVAGALUMY FC.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Jovens Democratas MZC fully deserved thier win.
