A collision led to DJVAGALUMY FC. getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Joélson Silveira hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Al-Fajuth's goal looked a bit too open when Túlio Breckenfeld came free, but Yuri Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabinho de Senna might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yuri Quirino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabinho de Senna ran back to his position shaking his head. Thiago Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Quirino having to interfere. Pedrinho Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Pedrinho Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabinho de Senna during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 played minutes DJVAGALUMY FC. got a freekick which was hit by João Pedro Vargas. Luís Fernando de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timeteo Pinto in the 27th minute of the match. Timeteo Pinto took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Fernando de Queiroz. Luís Fernando de Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Yuri Quirino made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Thiago Vidal sent off a good shot on target. When Agostinho Guedes came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Al-Fajuth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agostinho Guedes couldn't finish the play. Lucas Paraíba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yuri Quirino came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucas Paraíba slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 41st minute. If Sandro Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th match minute, Al-Fajuth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timeteo Pinto to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 53rd minute Agostinho Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fernando de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yuri Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of DJVAGALUMY FC. booed when Al-Fajuth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yuri Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabinho de Senna in the 71st minute of play. After 71 minutes, Timeteo Pinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Al-Fajuth and the DJVAGALUMY FC. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thiago Vidal in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yuri Quirino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yuri Quirino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thiago Vidal went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Carlos Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Al-Fajuth's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Marinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fernando de Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the match, DJVAGALUMY FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Maciel came free, but Luís Fernando de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Timeteo Pinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ulysses de Senna fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Al-Fajuth's protests and gave Ulysses de Senna a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Vidal in the 96th minute of play forced Al-Fajuth's goalkeeper Yuri Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
