After a defensive mix-up in Zandarin FC's zone, Murilo Lucas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimeno Cilio came out of the goal and Murilo Lucas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Zandarin FC booed when AF CERRADO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toninho Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dennis Contaldi might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jimeno Cilio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dennis Contaldi ran back to his position shaking his head. AF CERRADO's Antônio Carlos Bueno was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 95th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. AF CERRADO played a much better game than Zandarin FC and deserved their victory. The Zandarin FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
