Amauri Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cido Souza in the 16th minute of the match. After 17 minutes, Germano Souza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zandarin FC and the Rio Verde F.C CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Zandarin FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Germano Souza hit a great ball. Zandarin FC's Jimeno Cilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Erauso in the 18th minute of play. A well done corner resulted in Mitchel Bakker drilling the ball in to score 0-2 behind Zandarin FC's goalkeeper. After the first half Rio Verde F.C CIMZ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Sousa to strike the kick off in the second half. André Luís Seco charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Luís Seco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes Zandarin FC got a freekick which was hit by André Luís Seco. Jimeno Cilio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 53rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Israel Vidal. If Marco Erauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Zandarin FC's goalkeeper Jimeno Cilio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Siqueira. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Erauso got free with Jimeno Cilio in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute of the match Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a corner. Zandarin FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Israel Vidal ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jimeno Cilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Erauso in the 66th minute of the match. In the 73rd play minute Marco Erauso came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jimeno Cilio. 0-4. Amauri Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cido Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Marco Erauso took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimeno Cilio. Jimeno Cilio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Zandarin FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ:s goal. Jimeno Cilio had in the 88thth minute some difficulties stopping Israel Vidal's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Pedrinho Donatello kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Zandarin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Erauso came free, but Jimeno Cilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Erauso kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
