João Pirani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matheus Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jimeno Cilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vascogoianiense FC's João Pirani got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nelsinho Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Sousa in the 19th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, André Luís Seco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zandarin FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vascogoianiense FC the free kick. A collision led to Zandarin FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. André Luís Seco hit a great ball. Alexandre Tepedino scored 3-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jimeno Cilio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. João Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Pirani succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. 36 minutes into the match, Zandarin FC's goalkeeper Jimeno Cilio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aírton Sousa. Nelsinho Leite stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Sousa's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Pirani in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimeno Cilio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 42 minutes into the game, Alexandre Tepedino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jimeno Cilio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alexandre Tepedino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jimeno Cilio having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Aírton Sousa put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jimeno Cilio. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexandre Tepedino to strike the kick off in the second half. Alexandre Tepedino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jimeno Cilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pirani in the 60th minute of play. Jimeno Cilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Zandarin FC's zone, João Pirani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimeno Cilio came out of the goal and João Pirani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matheus Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jimeno Cilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilmar Monteiro in the 74th minute of play forced Zandarin FC's goalkeeper Jimeno Cilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zandarin FC's attentive Roberto Branco managed to snatch the ball when Edmílson Fernandez made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Zandarin FC's André Luís Seco got a free kick in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's Aírton Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jimeno Cilio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Vascogoianiense FC's Gilmar Monteiro in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, Gilmar Monteiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Jimeno Cilio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 96 minutes into the game, Gilmar Monteiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Vascogoianiense FC had played much better football throughout.
