With a little luck, Vascogoianiense FC's Nelsinho Leite got control of the ball when Svali Bollason tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedrinho Vasco hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Reko-Recko 03™'s goal looked a bit too open when Aírton Sousa came free, but Angelino Nueva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelsinho Leite was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Svali Bollason showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. Vascogoianiense FC's Falcão de Godoi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Angelino Nueva in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vito Mazza was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, one of Vascogoianiense FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vascogoianiense FC. Gerardo Arce shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal.

Vascogoianiense FC's Alexandre Tepedino was substituted for Matheus Neto. In the 53rdth minute of the game Aírton Sousa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Reko-Recko 03™'s Angelino Nueva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Angelino Nueva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aírton Sousa in the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Svali Bollason notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Vascogoianiense FC's Nelsinho Leite. Nelsinho Leite was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Falcão de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reko-Recko 03™ made a substitution. Xande Cabezudo replaced Svali Bollason. Angelino Nueva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aírton Sousa in the 64th minute of play. Reko-Recko 03™'s Angelino Nueva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pirani in the 67th minute of play. Nelsinho Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hao Feng Yu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Pedrinho Vasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vascogoianiense FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedrinho Vasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelino Nueva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Reko-Recko 03™'s zone, Aírton Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelino Nueva came out of the goal and Aírton Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Glauco Breckenfeld came free, but Nelsinho Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Vascogoianiense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmílson Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. Nelsinho Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xande Cabezudo in the 82nd minute of play. Angelino Nueva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Pirani in the 84th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Aírton Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Nueva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Vascogoianiense FC's João Pirani ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Angelino Nueva. Angelino Nueva yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1.
