An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Gutiev in the 8th minute of play forced Vetusta's goalkeeper Wincent Koczara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Vetusta's Ascencio Quintas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Univ. UASD's Casimiro Villanueva got a free kick in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Casimiro Villanueva notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Vetusta's Wincent Koczara. Wincent Koczara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eneto Candela kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Wilson Rivera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincent Koczara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wincent Koczara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Rivera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ascencio Quintas in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yánez Aldaeta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Villanueva in the 34th minute of play forced Vetusta's goalkeeper Wincent Koczara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Vetusta booed when Club Atlético Univ. UASD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Archibeque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ascencio Quintas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yánez Aldaeta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Wincent Koczara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilson Rivera's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Yánez Aldaeta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ascencio Quintas went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 43 minutes into the game, Normando Veloso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yánez Aldaeta. Normando Veloso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Vetusta's Normando Veloso got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Ascencio Quintas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yánez Aldaeta was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Norbert Gutiev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Wincent Koczara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yánez Aldaeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ascencio Quintas in the 70th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Univ. UASD's goal looked a bit too open when Ascencio Quintas came free, but Yánez Aldaeta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ascencio Quintas in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yánez Aldaeta saved Club Atlético Univ. UASD from getting behind. Ascencio Quintas struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Yánez Aldaeta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vetusta. Ascencio Quintas might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yánez Aldaeta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ascencio Quintas ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ascencio Quintas in the 76th minute of play forced Club Atlético Univ. In the 79th minute Dorio Cacheres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yánez Aldaeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 minutes of play, Vetusta's Ascencio Quintas made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yánez Aldaeta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vetusta made a substitution. Marco Palomar replaced Normando Veloso. Vetusta's Ascencio Quintas got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wincent Koczara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Rivera in the 97th minute of the match. Vetusta's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
