After taking down the ball on AEK S.C's corner Kevin Carreira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Maurino Serena quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thalis Krommidas in the 15th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alcorcón made a substitution. Laurin Mangas replaced Nereo Acosta. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erlantz Bermejo in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Bruno Almeida made in the 93rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Thomas Papatrechas however managed to control. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaggelis Mitsiou in the 94th minute of play. After a rather tough play, A.D. Alcorcón's Leroy Antunez got a free kick in the 97th minute. Esteban Vadillos kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. 101 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Vaggelis Mitsiou came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AEK S.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
