In the 4thth minute of the game Geovanni Zalon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Fernandez in the 15th minute of play forced Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Celso Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Dr Lecter SC's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanni Zalon came free, but Celso Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corneliu Dridu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celso Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Fernandez in the 26th minute of the match. Corneliu Dridu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romulo Gelacio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Corneliu Dridu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dr Lecter SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Corneliu Dridu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romulo Gelacio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31stth minute of the game Corneliu Dridu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ruquense FC's Romulo Gelacio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romulo Gelacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wanderson Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Ruquense FC defense, Corneliu Dridu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romulo Gelacio. The Ruquense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romulo Gelacio should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Dr Lecter SC booed when Ruquense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Joseph didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corneliu Dridus short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Romulo Gelacio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Romulo Gelacio made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Corneliu Dridu sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Quirze in the 62nd minute of play forced Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Celso Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruquense FC's Romulo Gelacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wanderson Fernandez in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Corneliu Dridu made a precise shot to the right of Romulo Gelacio. Ruquense FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Celso Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovanni Zalon in the 70th minute of the match. Romulo Gelacio made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Corneliu Dridu sent off a good shot on target. Corneliu Dridu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Romulo Gelacio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 76th minute of play forced Ruquense FC's goalkeeper Romulo Gelacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Dr Lecter SC's Corneliu Dridu got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 82nd match minute, Dr Lecter SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corneliu Dridu to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Adolfo Joseph in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Dr Lecter SC's Wanderson Fernandez. Wanderson Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dr Lecter SC made a substitution. Oséias de Amaral replaced Germano Pena. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ruquense FC's goalkeeper Romulo Gelacio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Wanderson Fernandez advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-4 in the 94th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Dr Lecter SC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
