Lucas Donnarumma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ruy Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felipe Santos Borré. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruy Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 17th minute, Jeferson Toledo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felipe Santos Borré was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 21 minutes into the match, Los Hermanos CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredão de Andrade came free, but Lucas Donnarumma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Felipe Santos Borré successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gustavo Neto hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. SÃO JORGE FC™®'s Felipe Santos Borré played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeferson Toledo in the 27th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruy Amorim got free with Felipe Santos Borré in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Silvério de Godoi came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Los Hermanos CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvério de Godoi couldn't finish the play. When Cesinha Ramalho fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SÃO JORGE FC™®'s protests and gave Cesinha Ramalho a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SÃO JORGE FC™® getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Cesinha Ramalho hit a great ball. A collision led to Los Hermanos CIMZ getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jeferson Toledo hit a great ball. Lucas Donnarumma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedê de Castro in the 44th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeferson Toledo to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Ruy Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Los Hermanos CIMZ booed when SÃO JORGE FC™® was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Los Hermanos CIMZ's Lucas Donnarumma got control of the ball when Celso Madureira tried to sneak it across the goal line. The long shot by Alfredão de Andrade in the 68th minute really tested Lucas Donnarumma's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Lucas Donnarumma made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Celso Madureira sent off a good shot on target. Felipe Santos Borré came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Hermanos CIMZ's Emílio Lima. But to his dismay, Emílio Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 91st minute, Emílio Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Hermanos CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Los Hermanos CIMZ had won after a very even match.
