In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Higinio Aguilera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera got control of the ball when Fermin Dolfo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fermin Dolfo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Higinio Aguilera having to make a save. 10 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Higinio Aguilera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fermin Dolfo. In the 13thth minute of the game Fermin Dolfo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fábio Rocha in the 19th minute of play. Severiano Nardo made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Yalapa's Juan Edwardo. In the 22nd match minute, Los Hijos de Doña Beija was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Nardo to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Yalapa's Fermin Dolfo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Higinio Aguilera. That made the score 1-0 after 24 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fermin Dolfo in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Aguilera saved Los Hijos de Doña Beija from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Yalapa's Fermin Dolfo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Higinio Aguilera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fermin Dolfo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Higinio Aguilera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fermin Dolfo. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Los Hijos de Doña Beija made a substitution. Jyrki Sillanpää replaced Severiano Nardo. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fermin Dolfo was the one to do the kick off. Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Yalapa from getting a goal against them. Yalapa made a substitution. Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı replaced Fermin Dolfo. Yalapa made a substitution. Cristobal Isusko replaced Faustino Dimo. In the 66th minute of the match Los Hijos de Doña Beija got a corner. Yalapa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Osman Ali Okutan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Atilano Dino took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Higinio Aguilera. Higinio Aguilera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Los Hijos de Doña Beija made a substitution. Albino Brion replaced Osman Ali Okutan. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı in the 74th minute of play. Higinio Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı in the 75th minute of play. Basri İhtiyar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Higinio Aguilera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Higinio Aguilera came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Yalapa's Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı. But to his dismay, Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. A collision led to Yalapa getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Diego Armando Junior hit a great ball. Yalapa were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Los Hijos de Doña Beija for a fine match.
