Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Conrado Txordon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute Barrialito AFC were awarded a corner. Jaime Eleazar went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Barrialito AFC's Cecilio Rosio getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Cecilio Rosio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nereo Luzea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in RIQUELME FC's zone, Conrado Txordon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Luzea came out of the goal and Conrado Txordon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the match, Barrialito AFC's Alexandros Peropoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nereo Luzea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jeremias Porfirio kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After some careless play in the RIQUELME FC defense, Alexandros Peropoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nereo Luzea. The RIQUELME FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nereo Luzea should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Alexandros Peropoulos notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of RIQUELME FC's Nereo Luzea. Nereo Luzea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fulgencio Petrigai's late challenge caught a Barrialito AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fulgencio Petrigai helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes RIQUELME FC got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Petrigai. Barrialito AFC's Alexandros Peropoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nereo Luzea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandros Peropoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the game, Barrialito AFC's Alexandros Peropoulos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nereo Luzea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Alexandros Peropoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Luzea having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandros Peropoulos was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Alexandros Peropoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barrialito AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. After 61 played minutes RIQUELME FC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Chepe. Jeremias Porfirio kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Barrialito AFC's Natalio Bieito was substituted for Conrado Txordon. Nereo Luzea was a little too slow when Alexandros Peropoulos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-9. Alexandros Peropoulos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nereo Luzea came out and tried to block the shot, but Alexandros Peropoulos slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 81st minute. The audience was convinced that Alexandros Peropoulos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nereo Luzea was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Nereo Luzea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandros Peropoulos in the 92nd minute of play. When the match was over Barrialito AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than RIQUELME FC throughout the match.
