In the 4th minute of the game Astor Furman made a throw-in which Bruno Florin played forward. Rene Flor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nereo Luzea having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Flor in the 6th minute of play forced RIQUELME FC's goalkeeper Nereo Luzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Jesus Oinatz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rene Flor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Nereo Luzea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octavio Efraim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Kepa in the 11th minute of play. Red Bull Crystallis's Rene Flor got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Germain Poli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jesus Oinatz's late challenge caught a Red Bull Crystallis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesus Oinatz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, RIQUELME FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Oinatz to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute Rene Flor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Luzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nereo Luzea came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Bull Crystallis's Rene Flor. But to his dismay, Rene Flor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Rene Flor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diego Chepe kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. William Bodin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Luzea having to interfere. Jesus Oinatz got his second yellow card in the match during the 26th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. RIQUELME FC's Nereo Luzea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Flor in the 30th minute of play. Rene Flor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rene Flor struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Nereo Luzea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Bull Crystallis. Rene Flor took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nereo Luzea. Nereo Luzea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Nereo Luzea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Flor in the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Rene Flor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Bull Crystallis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 47 minutes into the match, RIQUELME FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Flor came free, but Nereo Luzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Red Bull Crystallis were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Freddy Kepa made a kick off. Rene Flor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nereo Luzea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Germain Poli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Bull Crystallis's supporters rose to their feet, but Germain Poli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Luzea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rene Flor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nereo Luzea having to make a save. Rene Flor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the match, RIQUELME FC's goalkeeper Nereo Luzea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rene Flor. RIQUELME FC's Nereo Luzea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save RIQUELME FC from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd minute, Red Bull Crystallis's Rene Flor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Rene Flor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nereo Luzea having to make a save. Nereo Luzea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Castulo in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Diego Chepe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RIQUELME FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Bull Crystallis the free kick. In the 72nd minute, Diego Chepe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Red Bull Crystallis's Uno Vägi got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, RIQUELME FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rene Flor fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Red Bull Crystallis made a substitution. Federico Arnas replaced Rene Flor. Red Bull Crystallis's Octavio Efraim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Kepa in the 79th minute of play. RIQUELME FC's Diego Chepe got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Diego Chepe off the ground. A collision led to RIQUELME FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Diego Chepe hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Red Bull Crystallis's Zeledon Urdaspal in action when he in the 83rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 86 minutes, Federico Arnas made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. RIQUELME FC's Nereo Luzea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nereo Luzea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Arnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 minutes, Freddy Kepa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RIQUELME FC and the Red Bull Crystallis players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nereo Luzea made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Federico Arnas sent off a good shot on target. Red Bull Crystallis's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
