An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Milko in the 20th minute of play forced Rojals's goalkeeper Phenix Wright to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Rojals's goal looked a bit too open when Paquito Rey came free, but Phenix Wright reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merlin Balmaceda in the 25th minute of play forced S.D NARCEA's goalkeeper Germán Figueres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Merlin Balmaceda took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Germán Figueres. Orlando Montes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Phenix Wright read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Merlin Balmaceda to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Merlin Balmaceda got free with Germán Figueres in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zunbeltz Cienfuegos in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Germán Figueres saved S.D NARCEA from getting behind. Eugeniusz Milko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phenix Wright having to interfere. Germán Figueres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merlin Balmaceda in the 63rd minute of play. Phenix Wright took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugeniusz Milko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Rojals booed when S.D NARCEA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Félix Zărnescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, S.D NARCEA's Félix Zărnescu got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 73rd minute, Mehmet Bedri Teber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute Manel Quintanilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phenix Wright saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in S.D NARCEA's zone, Bernabé Teresa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Germán Figueres came out of the goal and Bernabé Teresa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th match minute, Rojals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emenon Romero to maneuver through the defense. Phenix Wright showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manel Quintanilla in the 86th minute of the match. S.D NARCEA's Germán Figueres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save S.D NARCEA from getting a goal against them.
