Aniol Paris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ascencio Quintas in the 15th minute of play. Ray De Lauw showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Buenafuente in the 18th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Vetusta's goal looked a bit too open when Radomil Jaraczeski came free, but Ray De Lauw reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vetusta's Jose-Manuel Jauregui got a free kick in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aníbal Marinho was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Vetusta got a freekick which was hit by Hanot Perdices. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aníbal Marinho in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ray De Lauw prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute, Toni Buenafuente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Ascencio Quintas made a precise shot to the right of Aniol Paris. Sociedad Deportiva Aboque's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The audience was convinced that Ascencio Quintas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aniol Paris was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game.
