With a little luck, Asturcones d´la Abadía's Ermegildo Delgado got control of the ball when Zigor Barroso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miks Lecis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xurxo Lagunas in the 13th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Cometuétano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Argenis Coira to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute Xurxo Lagunas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miks Lecis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Cometuétano's goal looked a bit too open when Xurxo Lagunas came free, but Miks Lecis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Zigor Barroso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ermegildo Delgado, 3-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zigor Barroso was the one to do the kick off. Asturcones d´la Abadía's Ermegildo Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anxelu Esteban in the 89th minute of play. Ermegildo Delgado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Argenis Coira went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Asturcones d´la Abadía defense, Zigor Barroso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ermegildo Delgado. The Asturcones d´la Abadía fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ermegildo Delgado should have stopped the shot. Cometuétano walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
