The shot was a little too simple and Juan Carlos Suciu could save by the left post. 21 minutes into the match, Salud y República's goal looked a bit too open when Jose-Manuel Jauregui came free, but Juan Carlos Suciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nisio Riba kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Juan Carlos Suciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ascencio Quintas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Ascencio Quintas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Carlos Suciu. After 32 minutes of play, Vetusta's Ascencio Quintas made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Carlos Suciu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 35 minutes Salud y República's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hanot Perdices who took care of the corner kick. In the 39th minute, Ascencio Quintas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Carlos Suciu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Juan Carlos Suciu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Vetusta's Ascencio Quintas shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 46th minute Ascencio Quintas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Suciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ascencio Quintas was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Cai Ocaña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Salud y República fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Carlos Suciu should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute, Jose-Manuel Jauregui left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vetusta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 80 minutes into the game, Jose-Manuel Jauregui cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Juan Carlos Suciu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ascencio Quintas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Carlos Suciu having to make a save. Juan Carlos Suciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ascencio Quintas in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose-Manuel Jauregui in the 86th minute of play forced Salud y República's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Suciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ascencio Quintas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Carlos Suciu was relentless in the 88th minute of the game.
