Ermegildo Delgado was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 21 minutes Asturcones d´la Abadía's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hanot Perdices who took care of the corner kick. Alto Somiedo tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Ermegildo Delgado. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-2 in the 21st minute. Ermegildo Delgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ascencio Quintas, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Bichiko Candamo made in the 38th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Asier Izquierdo however managed to control. 39 minutes into the game, Vetusta's Normando Veloso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 42ndth minute of the game Ascencio Quintas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Asturcones d´la Abadía's Ermegildo Delgado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vetusta were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Asturcones d´la Abadía's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hanot Perdices took the corner. After a rather tough play, Vetusta's Chano Turienzo got a free kick in the 46th minute. Asturcones d´la Abadía's David Valverde couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vetusta.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filomeno Tormes was the one to do the kick off. Ermegildo Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ascencio Quintas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ascencio Quintas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ermegildo Delgado was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Ermegildo Delgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. A collision led to Vetusta getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Nicolás Rua hit a great ball. Asturcones d´la Abadía's Ermegildo Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ascencio Quintas in the 81st minute of play. After some careless play in the Asturcones d´la Abadía defense, Ascencio Quintas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ermegildo Delgado. The Asturcones d´la Abadía fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ermegildo Delgado should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the game, Marco Palomar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ermegildo Delgado. Marco Palomar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. The Asturcones d´la Abadía fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vetusta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
