Phenix Wright was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Vetusta getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Iosu Toxeiro hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Pietro Clos made in the 50th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Xamo Pareja. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Rojals's goalkeeper Phenix Wright, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ascencio Quintas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Phenix Wright was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Ascencio Quintas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Phenix Wright having to make a save. 72 minutes into the match, Rojals's goal looked a bit too open when Ascencio Quintas came free, but Phenix Wright reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Ascencio Quintas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phenix Wright saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wincent Koczara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Gibert in the 84th minute of play. After 86 played minutes Vetusta got a freekick which was hit by Normando Veloso. Rojals's Vigil Aizpurua was substituted for Zunbeltz Cienfuegos. Rojals's Elpidio Griego was substituted for Pietro Clos. Normando Veloso hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ascencio Quintas in the 90th minute of play forced Rojals's goalkeeper Phenix Wright to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Vetusta's goal looked a bit too open when Merlin Balmaceda came free, but Wincent Koczara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vetusta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
