Germán Figueres came out of the goal and Ascencio Quintas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Calisto Zaplana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wincent Koczara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calisto Zaplana in the 33rd minute of the match. The corner led Vetusta's Normando Veloso to fire away a dangerous shot which Germán Figueres despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 39th minute of the match, Ascencio Quintas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Germán Figueres saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Vetusta were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after S.D NARCEA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hanot Perdices took the corner.
