In the 16th match minute, Clube do Remo MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagoberto Sandoval to maneuver through the defense. Florian Capassos short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Wachirapong Wattanachinda to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baal Grunberg in the 18th minute of the match. Wachirapong Wattanachinda made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Florian Capasso sent off a good shot on target. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florian Capasso to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Baal Grunberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Walmyr Novaes charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walmyr Novaes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes Merusca F&P - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Walmyr Novaes. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Hélder Fonseca was substituted for Florian Capasso. After a rather tough play, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Walmyr Novaes got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélder Fonseca in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wachirapong Wattanachinda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wachirapong Wattanachinda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hélder Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Mauro-Facundo Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Sandoval in the 87th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Clube do Remo MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Fonseca came free, but Wachirapong Wattanachinda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wachirapong Wattanachinda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Fonseca in the 93rd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Clube do Remo MZ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Merusca F&P - CIMZ.
