Alex Finman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 25 minutes into the match, Real Grasacticos's goal looked a bit too open when Hernani Quirino came free, but Alex Finman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Zé Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Finman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes Real Grasacticos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leonel Loureiro who took care of the corner kick. The Real Grasacticos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Finman should have stopped the shot. Alex Finman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronny Pihlblad in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dedé Dante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alex Finman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês Moreno in the 73rd minute of play. Aurora FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
