The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Plebeyos's Arsenio Cordeal got control of the ball when Aureliano Gora tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorge Havier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Castel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Betelgeux FC's Jorge Havier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaden Hutton in the 6th minute of play. Arsenio Cordeal was a little too slow when Aureliano Gora got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. Jorge Havier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Vergaray, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Arsenio Cordeal was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Arsenio Hustaz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arsenio Hustaz really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aaden Hutton in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Havier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Betelgeux FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Generoso Kepa hit a great ball. Jorge Havier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Vergaray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aureliano Gora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Arsenio Cordeal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Plebeyos defense, Aureliano Gora kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arsenio Cordeal. The Plebeyos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arsenio Cordeal should have stopped the shot. Jorge Havier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaden Hutton in the 35th minute of play. Jorge Havier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Vergaray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Plebeyos's goalkeeper Arsenio Cordeal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aureliano Gora. Jorge Havier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Castel in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Betelgeux FC's Arsenio Hustaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arsenio Cordeal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. With an all-out effort, Betelgeux FC's Arsenio Cordeal threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arsenio Hustaz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jorge Havier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaden Hutton in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aaden Hutton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabricio Martxelin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arsenio Cordeal. Plebeyos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 55th minute Aaden Hutton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Havier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kåre Uter in the 56th minute of play forced Betelgeux FC's goalkeeper Jorge Havier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Havier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kåre Uter in the 58th minute of play. Jorge Havier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kåre Uter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Plebeyos getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Carlos Monzón hit a great ball. Teobaldo Gonza struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Arsenio Cordeal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Betelgeux FC. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Betelgeux FC! In the 64th minute Eduardo Tuzzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Havier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Betelgeux FC's Silvio Luzaide got a free kick in the 69th minute. Jorge Havier made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Valentin Vergaray sent off a good shot on target. Emil Kostadinov hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Teobaldo Gonza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arsenio Cordeal. In the 86th minute, Arsenio Hustaz made a precise shot to the right of Arsenio Cordeal. Plebeyos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Arsenio Cordeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Luzaide in the 92nd minute of play. The supporters of Betelgeux FC booed when Plebeyos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Kostadinov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute of the match Teobaldo Gonza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arsenio Cordeal skillfully saved the ball. Valentin Vergaray could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Jorge Havier made a huge save. Plebeyos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
