Zuberbühler FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristobal Markel in the 13th minute. A nice corner shot did that Cristobal Markel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlos Germano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Casimiro Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Berdoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atlético Atlanta were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Zuberbühler FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciro Ferdinand took the corner. The supporters of Zuberbühler FC booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Artaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristobal Markel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
