Rigan Frankson started the match with the kick off. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Cascade Park West from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beagan Colwell in the 4th minute of play forced Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Torrey Molloy came free, but Dario Wilhelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Dario Wilhelm throw himself and got hold of the ball when Rigan Frankson in the 10thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Ter Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolland Hobbs in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute Amir Lee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stegen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beagan Colwell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, 1948 MKS's Dario Wilhelm threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rigan Frankson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Beagan Colwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Wilhelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigan Frankson in the 26th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Rigan Frankson notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm. Dario Wilhelm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolland Hobbs in the 32nd minute of play. Barlas Aydın charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Barlas Aydın the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cascade Park West getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Barlas Aydın hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Torrey Molloy came free, but Dario Wilhelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, Cascade Park West was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allen Dalton to maneuver through the defense. Dario Wilhelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigan Frankson in the 43rd minute of the match. The supporters of Cascade Park West booed when 1948 MKS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudy Lukas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldo Renteria in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Waldo Renteria to strike the kick off in the second half. Cascade Park West's attentive Dexter Benton managed to snatch the ball when Kaine Kirby made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. Amir Lee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rigan Frankson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Wilhelm having to interfere. Amir Lee's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ter Stegen firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dario Wilhelm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torrey Molloy's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torrey Molloy in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cascade Park West's Claude Joyner got a free kick in the 80th minute. Barnaby Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute of the match Cascade Park West got a corner. 1948 MKS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dexter Benton ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 89 minutes, Waldo Renteria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cascade Park West's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldo Renteria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Amir Lee kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ter Stegen. That made the score 1-1 in the 90 minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
