The referee gave Atlético Nuevo Laredo a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Teobaldo Arnau, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pousada 2 Pedros FC's Pau Rola. 1-0. Pousada 2 Pedros FC's Pau Rola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Nataniel in the 12th minute of play. Pau Rola made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Mauro Bartolome sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Feliciano Nataniel got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Hugo Veiga scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Estebe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mauro Bartolome hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Feliciano Nataniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goal looked a bit too open when Andrézinho Medeiros came free, but Fabio Estebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Estebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Veiga in the 41st minute of play. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Fabio Estebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Camargo in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Hugo Veiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Estebe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The Atlético Nuevo Laredo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pousada 2 Pedros FC were winning 1-2.

Fabio Estebe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Veiga in the 57th minute. Fabio Estebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Camargo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pau Rola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Nataniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Pousada 2 Pedros FC's Pau Rola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Nataniel in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th match minute, Atlético Nuevo Laredo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Atauri to maneuver through the defense. Pau Rola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Damario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliciano Nataniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pau Rola having to interfere. If Feliciano Nataniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pousada 2 Pedros FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
