In the 3rd minute Boca Juniors fc were awarded a corner. Karmel Mascaraque went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Karmel Mascaraque almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CD Miguir's René Vignal did a great save. Javier Iruegas kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. CD Miguir's René Vignal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karmel Mascaraque in the 10th minute of play. Boca Juniors fc's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Karmel Mascaraque in the 11th minute. The corner ended in Karmel Mascaraque almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CD Miguir's René Vignal did a great save. In the 12th match minute, CD Miguir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Espada to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Javier Iruegas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ryszard Kaczanek. That made the score 1-1 in the 16 minute of play. René Vignal came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors fc's Everardo Honrio. But to his dismay, Everardo Honrio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. CD Miguir's René Vignal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karmel Mascaraque in the 23rd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Javier Iruegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute Everardo Honrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Vignal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonzalo Canton's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonzalo Canton helped the player get up and apologised. Gonzalo Canton kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Oliver Bierhoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Vignal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boca Juniors fc's goalkeeper Ryszard Kaczanek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, CD Miguir's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Honrio came free, but René Vignal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

CD Miguir's Juan-Pablo Felipez was substituted for Zenon Bispo. The wind increased when Everardo Honrio made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Everardo Honrio got free with René Vignal in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, CD Miguir's René Vignal got control of the ball when Everardo Honrio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cortez Ibern hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the game, Manuel Fabregas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Miguir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boca Juniors fc the free kick. In the 65th minute, Karmel Mascaraque fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of René Vignal, passed just outside the right post. In the 71st minute Karmel Mascaraque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Vignal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryszard Kaczanek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Espada, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 78th match minute, CD Miguir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Canton to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, CD Miguir's René Vignal got control of the ball when Everardo Honrio tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Canton in the 81st minute of play forced Boca Juniors fc's goalkeeper Ryszard Kaczanek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, CD Miguir's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Bierhoff came free, but René Vignal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giovanni Simeone got free with René Vignal in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. René Vignal was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Karmel Mascaraque capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karmel Mascaraque really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonzalo Canton in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ryszard Kaczanek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. René Vignal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Everardo Honrio in the 93rd minute. Ryszard Kaczanek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonzalo Canton's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Boca Juniors fc played a much better game than CD Miguir and deserved their victory. The CD Miguir players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
