The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the match, Mauricio Obaldia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Javier Burrau, 2-0. Javier Burrau was a little too slow when Mauricio Obaldia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 3-0. 20 minutes into the match, NAGANO F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gavica Almaraz came free, but Javier Burrau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cláudio López scored 3-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grueso Roca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. NAGANO F.C's Marcelino Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Zeru Sorribes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavica Almaraz in the 31st minute of play forced NAGANO F.C's goalkeeper Javier Burrau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cláudio López had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Grueso Roca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio López, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. NAGANO F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Cláudio López was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grueso Roca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. NAGANO F.C made a substitution. Villagra Ygnacio replaced Cláudio López. After a rather tough play, NAGANO F.C's Hector-Luis Soldevilla got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Javier Burrau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urtsin Rayon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Jairón Jaraba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to YerBaTerOs getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. The YerBaTerOs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Grueso Roca should have stopped the shot. 74 minutes into the match, YerBaTerOs's goalkeeper Grueso Roca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Villagra Ygnacio. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Urtsin Rayon in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Burrau saved NAGANO F.C from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Urtsin Rayon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Javier Burrau was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by NAGANO F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mauricio Renteria was slow to take the kick. During this time YerBaTerOs's players had a chance to rest. NAGANO F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcelino Lara in the 92nd minute. After taking down the ball on NAGANO F.C's corner Zeru Sorribes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Grueso Roca quite easily take care of the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
