David Banegas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mike Cassar Torreggiani firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Esmeralda AFC booed when Blåvitt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Lundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Zülfü Sungur notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Blåvitt's Mike Cassar Torreggiani. Mike Cassar Torreggiani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Esmeralda AFC had won after a very even match.
