The audience thought a goal was coming when Pastor Ado got free with Marcelinho Barral in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edmond Verdun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ksawery Winnicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th match minute, Errecaborda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valko De Hond to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Roceira SC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Barral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pastor Ado. 21 minutes into the match, Roceira SC's Dedê Oliveira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmond Verdun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roceira SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Michel Haaland in the 29th minute. Michel Haaland made a great header on Roceira SC's corner, it was just that Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Ksawery Winnicki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmond Verdun was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. 46 minutes into the game, one of Errecaborda AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Roceira SC a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Michel Haaland, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun. 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Roceira SC's Marcelinho Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Ado in the 52nd minute of play. Marcelinho Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Tate, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 61 played minutes Errecaborda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Terra. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Rameriz in the 64th minute of play forced Roceira SC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelinho Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Ado in the 66th minute of play. Marcelinho Barral came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Errecaborda AFC's Pastor Ado. But to his dismay, Pastor Ado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joe Tate in the 80th minute of play forced Roceira SC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelinho Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Rameriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Marcelinho Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Rameriz in the 87th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Mauro Rameriz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Marcelinho Barral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edmond Verdun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ksawery Winnicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelinho Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Marcelinho Barral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joe Tate went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Roceira SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Errecaborda AFC.
