Waldo Renteria started the match with the kick off. Paolo Golts kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Rashad Richardson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amir Lee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyle Flanagan having to interfere. With a little luck, Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm got control of the ball when Stig-Ove Möller tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dario Wilhelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Ove Möller in the 25th minute of play. Dario Wilhelm made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Stig-Ove Möller sent off a good shot on target. Stig-Ove Möller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dario Wilhelm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Ove Möller in the 38th minute of play forced Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's goal looked a bit too open when Waldo Renteria came free, but Lyle Flanagan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marshall Medina. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Stig-Ove Möller made the kick off in the second half. Lyle Flanagan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldo Renteria, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Willy Webster was substituted for Stig-Ove Möller. Gordie Mosquera hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Lyle Flanagan made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Rolland Hobbs sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 73 minutes, Reginaldo Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reginaldo Dias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Wally Urbina was substituted for Reginaldo Dias. Dario Wilhelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willy Webster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Willy Webster blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dario Wilhelm having to make a save. Dario Wilhelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willy Webster in the 82nd minute of play. Lyle Flanagan made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Amir Lee sent off a good shot on target. Cristiano Trezeguet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Dario Wilhelm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Willy Webster might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dario Wilhelm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Willy Webster ran back to his position shaking his head. Dario Wilhelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willy Webster in the 95th minute of play. Despite being the better team, EL LOBO DE MIAMI failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
