But to his dismay, Tyron Velasquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santos FC's goalkeeper Aaron Smallwood, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tyron Velasquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Cascade Park West's Allen Dalton got a free kick in the 35th minute. Rashad Richardson hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Cesar Small came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Santos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar Small couldn't finish the play. Dario Wilhelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lanny Gilmore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Aaron Smallwood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 王沙谦 in the 51st minute of the match. Santos FC's Aaron Smallwood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldo Renteria in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Lanny Gilmore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Wilhelm was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Dario Wilhelm successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Cascade Park West's zone, Lanny Gilmore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Wilhelm came out of the goal and Lanny Gilmore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldo Renteria in the 92nd minute of play forced Santos FC's goalkeeper Aaron Smallwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rashad Richardson made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Santos FC's Dominic Albright.
