After a rather tough play, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Clayton Haney got a free kick in the 26th minute. Lyle Flanagan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 冯永宽 went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Bart Timmons hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38thth minute of the game Danilo Maranhense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Lyle Flanagan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Illinois Bluewaters's Ward Mason got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danilo Maranhense to make the kick off. If 冯永宽 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig-Ove Möller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Myles having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Şeray Gürgen made a precise shot to the right of Lyle Flanagan. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1.
