In the 13th minute, one of Astrologer FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Astrologer FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amir Lee in the 17th minute of play forced Astrologer FC's goalkeeper Tomas Landry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Amir Lee ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Landry was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Amir Lee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's Amir Lee sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomas Landry narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 29 minutes, Waldo Renteria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cascade Park West's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldo Renteria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm got control of the ball when Oren Grady tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Landry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldo Renteria in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Landry came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Cascade Park West's Waldo Renteria. But to his dismay, Waldo Renteria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 40th minute Amir Lee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Landry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cascade Park West's Jamar Orlinsky managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bart Landreth in the 42 minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Waldo Renteria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Scottie Leonard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Landry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldo Renteria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Landry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldo Renteria, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Amir Lee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th match minute, Astrologer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Mays to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Astrologer FC's Tomas Landry got control of the ball when Amir Lee tried to sneak it across the goal line. Astrologer FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Amir Lee 62 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. Astrologer FC's Tomas Landry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldo Renteria in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Bart Landreth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Amir Lee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 82 minutes, Oren Grady managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Astrologer FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oren Grady was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute of the match, Amir Lee got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tomas Landry was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Amir Lee could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Tomas Landry made a huge save. After 88 played minutes Astrologer FC got a freekick which was hit by Domenico Gallo. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cascade Park West eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
