The New England Minas fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when New England Minas's Edgardo Silva looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tomas Landry didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgardo Silva went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 19thth minute of the game Edgardo Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astrologer FC's Tomas Landry was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Glen Conklin made a great header on New England Minas's corner, it was just that Astrologer FC's Tomas Landry managed to reach the ball for a save. Scottie Leonard's late challenge caught a New England Minas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Conny Tingberg got a free kick in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Silva in the 38th minute of play forced Astrologer FC's goalkeeper Tomas Landry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Edgardo Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Tomas Landry was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd minute of the match New England Minas got a corner. Astrologer FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Glen Conklin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Glen Conklin made a great header on New England Minas's corner, it was just that Astrologer FC's Tomas Landry managed to reach the ball for a save. 44 minutes into the match, Astrologer FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tio Lio came free, but Tomas Landry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgardo Silva was the one to do the kick off. Astrologer FC's Alfred Mays managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jörgen Frohm in the 53 minute of the game. In the 54th minute, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tomas Landry. Tomas Landry yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. With his leg Tomas Landry managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when New England Minas's Tio Lio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 61 minutes into the match, Astrologer FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Silva came free, but Tomas Landry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. New England Minas's Hipolito Emenon was substituted for Jörgen Frohm. New England Minas's Emmitt Benson was substituted for Alperen Öksüz. Tio Lio might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomas Landry. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tio Lio ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgardo Silva in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomas Landry saved Astrologer FC from getting behind. Tomas Landry came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by New England Minas's Tio Lio. But to his dismay, Tio Lio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Tomas Landry didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 75th minute, which inside left pole to 0-8. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Astrologer FC's goalkeeper Tomas Landry, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When New England Minas's Edgardo Silva in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Astrologer FC's goalie prevented a goal. 81 minutes into the match, Astrologer FC's goalkeeper Tomas Landry had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tio Lio. Astrologer FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. 90 minutes into the match, Astrologer FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Silva came free, but Tomas Landry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
