Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edgardo Silva got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Jonas Granström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgardo Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orestis Karnezis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. New England Minas's Alperen Öksüz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Orestis Karnezis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 12th minute New England Minas were awarded a corner. Glen Conklin went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led New England Minas's Oscar Nordmark to fire away a dangerous shot which Orestis Karnezis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Orestis Karnezis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Nordmark's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. The audience was convinced that Oscar Nordmark's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orestis Karnezis was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 14th minute of the match New England Minas got a corner. HISPANO FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Glen Conklin ran over to the corner to take the kick. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save New England Minas from getting a goal against them. After 23 minutes of play, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orestis Karnezis was left in no man's land by his defense there! HISPANO FC were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after New England Minas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Migúel Herrera took the corner. In the 31st minute, Edgardo Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New England Minas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Orestis Karnezis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Silva in the 34th minute of play. Ferruccio Brunelli made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by New England Minas's Conny Tingberg. Edgardo Silva took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orestis Karnezis. Orestis Karnezis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. If Edgardo Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The HISPANO FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. New England Minas were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pastor Cambranes was the one to do the kick off. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Cambranes in the 50th minute of play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind HISPANO FC's goalkeeper Orestis Karnezis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, HISPANO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Silva came free, but Orestis Karnezis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. New England Minas made a substitution. Hipolito Emenon replaced Jörgen Frohm. After 63 minutes HISPANO FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Glen Conklin who took care of the corner kick. In the 66th minute Emmitt Benson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orestis Karnezis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When New England Minas's Tio Lio in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye HISPANO FC's goalie prevented a goal. Migúel Herrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Nicholas having to interfere. Orestis Karnezis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tio Lio in the 72nd minute of the match. After 74 played minutes HISPANO FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilmer Davison. In the 76th minute Tio Lio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orestis Karnezis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tio Lio struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Orestis Karnezis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New England Minas. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Tio Lio managed to get in a good position for a shot. New England Minas's supporters rose to their feet, but Tio Lio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orestis Karnezis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emmitt Benson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Orestis Karnezis made a huge save. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 俞亮岩 in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilmer Davison in the 84th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Tio Lio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Orestis Karnezis. HISPANO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tio Lio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. A collision led to HISPANO FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ferruccio Brunelli hit a great ball. Tio Lio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orestis Karnezis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Tio Lio put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Orestis Karnezis. The New England Minas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing New England Minas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
