In the 4th minute Comunardo Chizzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Myles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Calenzano's goalkeeper Felix Ivarsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danilo Maranhense. Roger Myles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arturo Di Matteo went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 17 played minutes Illinois Bluewaters got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Maranhense. Roger Myles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Di Matteo in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Calenzano were awarded a corner. Adrianinho Vasconcelos went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Adrianinho Vasconcelos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Illinois Bluewaters's Roger Myles did a great save. Mar Cao made in the 26th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Calenzano's Achille Sciamanna. 27 minutes into the match, Calenzano's Arturo Di Matteo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roger Myles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 29th play minutes Arturo Di Matteo shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Roger Myles and just under the crossbar into goal. Calenzano were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Illinois Bluewaters's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adrianinho Vasconcelos took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Adrianinho Vasconcelos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roger Myles quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 36 minutes into the match, Calenzano's Arturo Di Matteo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roger Myles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Arturo Di Matteo notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Illinois Bluewaters's Roger Myles. Roger Myles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yaniusky Pardo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Comunardo Chizzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Felix Ivarsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arturo Di Matteo made a kick off. In the 56th minute of the match Calenzano got a corner. Illinois Bluewaters's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adrianinho Vasconcelos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arturo Di Matteo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 58 minutes into the match, Illinois Bluewaters's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Di Matteo came free, but Roger Myles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Di Matteo might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Myles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arturo Di Matteo ran back to his position shaking his head. Roger Myles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Di Matteo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calenzano's Ennio Daniele was substituted for Adrianinho Vasconcelos. Calenzano's Quinto Ampudia was substituted for Arturo Di Matteo. 66 minutes into the match, Quinto Ampudia notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Illinois Bluewaters's Roger Myles. Roger Myles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 71 minutes of play, Calenzano's Quinto Ampudia made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roger Myles was left in no man's land by his defense there! Illinois Bluewaters made a substitution. 高笑广 replaced Ward Mason. Ron Harding made in the 81st minute of the game a quick throw-in and 冯永宽 immediately put the ball in play. A sloppy throw-in by Ron Harding in the 82nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Calenzano's Alessandro Giocondo. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Illinois Bluewaters's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fedele Alessandrini was slow to take the kick. During this time Calenzano's players had a chance to rest. Felix Ivarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 冯永宽, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 94th minute, Filippo Vulcano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Illinois Bluewaters's Sal Jarrell was substituted for Şeray Gürgen. A collision led to Calenzano getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Filippo Vulcano hit a great ball. Calenzano's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
