Gugu Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gugu Coutinho charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gugu Coutinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gugu Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Luís Fernando Paes hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Gugu Coutinho was shown his second yellow card after 20 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 27 minutes into the game, Jean Toledo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hartmann Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Internazionale-RS the free kick. Jean Toledo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Vitinho Siqueira's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Artur Pombal - 0-1 was put on the score board in the 27th minute. The audience was convinced that Jorginho Soares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Pombal was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 36th match minute, Hartmann Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Toledo to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Alessandro de Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorginho Soares to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Hartmann Futebol Clube's Alessandro de Medeiros got a free kick in the 61st minute. Luís Fernando Paes's late challenge caught a Hartmann Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Fernando Paes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st match minute, Internazionale-RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fernando Paes to maneuver through the defense. Internazionale-RS made a substitution. Artur Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Campidelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Artur Pombal came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Internazionale-RS's Rodrigo Magalhães. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Magalhães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The Hartmann Futebol Clube supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Internazionale-RS's performance. The match ended with a win for Internazionale-RS.
