Adrianinho Arósio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 24 minutes of play BURITIS FC's Matías Teles was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Internacional booed when BURITIS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matías Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Edgar Reis sped through BURITIS FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adrianinho Arósio. 31 minutes into the game, Oscar Mota cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Adrianinho Arósio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Edgar Reis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrianinho Arósio was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Mota got free with Adrianinho Arósio in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Internacional's Adrianinho Arósio threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edgar Reis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Edgar Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Adrianinho Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrianinho Arósio had in the 99thth minute some difficulties stopping Gerson Brodel's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 99 minutes of play, Internacional's Gerson Brodel made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrianinho Arósio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Internacional's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
