He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. In the 6th minute, Diogo Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Vítor Moura acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 7th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dito Secco. Sangue nos Zóio's Felippe Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guga Paraíba in the 8th minute of play. Felippe Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilton Pinho in the 10th minute of the match. Sangue nos Zóio's Felippe Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guga Paraíba in the 21st minute of play. Renatinho de Andrade struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. João Vítor Moura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sangue nos Zóio. Guga Paraíba scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felippe Couto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute Tadeu Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felippe Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sangue nos Zóio's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guga Paraíba was slow to take the kick. During this time MONTANHA's players had a chance to rest. Felippe Couto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tadeu Brito went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The MONTANHA fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when MONTANHA's Tadeu Brito looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Renatinho de Andrade made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Marcelo Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MONTANHA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sangue nos Zóio the free kick. Marcelo Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. If Renatinho de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60thth minute of the game Nilton Pinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sangue nos Zóio's Felippe Couto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to MONTANHA getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Marcelo Almeida hit a great ball. João Vítor Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renatinho de Andrade in the 63rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nilton Pinho during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, MONTANHA's Nilton Pinho got a free kick in the 65th minute. If Zé Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sangue nos Zóio's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nilton Pinho 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. Felippe Couto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nilton Pinho went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. The MONTANHA players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
