In the 66th minute Renato Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Queluzito's Carlos Augusto Lira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavinho Reis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Queluzito's Sidnei Félix got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caio Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Flavinho Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabinho Hoffmann in the 82nd minute of play. Fabinho Hoffmann took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Flavinho Reis. CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Flavinho Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué Damião, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 86th match minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Mangueira to maneuver through the defense.
