The throw-in from Nunez Cordara in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by San Fernando Eagles's Benedicto Marquez. In the 30th minute, Astor Beat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th match minute, San Fernando Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Lartaun to maneuver through the defense. Jesus Maxin's late challenge caught a San Fernando Eagles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesus Maxin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Jesus Maxin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the match, Aerolineas Argentinas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Galtero came free, but Angelino Liberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Angelino Liberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Galtero in the 65th minute of the match. When Gabriel Alcántara fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aerolineas Argentinas FC's protests and gave Gabriel Alcántara a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Joaquin Ricart's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabricio Nahia was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Carlomagno in the 78th minute of play forced San Fernando Eagles's goalkeeper Fabricio Nahia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Aerolineas Argentinas FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jesus Maxin hit a great ball. Aerolineas Argentinas FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though San Fernando Eagles had controlled the match.
