In the 4th minute, Edson Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ademar Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Emanuel Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Ademar Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 14 minutes, Wanderson Rossi made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FLU ES fc's Emanuel Vander tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 16 played minutes FLU ES fc got a freekick which was hit by Armandinho Lara. Sebastião Tepedino lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 18th minute, one of Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES. If Ademar Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reinaldo Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Wanderson Rossi hit a great ball. Zeca Custódio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Fabrício Bruno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ademar Perez came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ademar Perez couldn't finish the play. Edu Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geovani Schmidt went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score.

After 59 played minutes Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES got a freekick which was hit by Wanderson Rossi. When Geovani Schmidt fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FLU ES fc's protests and gave Geovani Schmidt a yellow card for diving instead. When Ademar Perez came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ademar Perez couldn't finish the play. Gilson Xavier might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edu Mendonça. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilson Xavier ran back to his position shaking his head. Geovani Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edu Mendonça having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Ademar Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's supporters rose to their feet, but Ademar Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Vander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuel Vander made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Ademar Perez sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in FLU ES fc's zone, Ademar Perez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Vander came out of the goal and Ademar Perez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
